I AM NOT THRILLED, PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE STUCK MOOD THINGY.

Has anyone read Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad? If you haven't, then don't subject yourself to that agony. It's our set book to read now, and although the descriptions are quite beautiful, it's REALLY difficult to read. REALLY. I can't even read Eldest or Temeraire at the moment because all my concentration is spenmt trying to figure out this book!

Anyway.

I saw Hellboy II. OMG Prince Nuada is AMAZING. I prefer him to Hellboy in the second film, that's how good he is. And Abe is so cute in this film. He's all lovesick and stuff... And the Barry Manilow singalong with Red and Blue is

THE HOLIDAY WAS AMAZING. No words can fully describe it. It was a brilliant opportunity to actively practice my spanish. Plus, I got a thirty seconds to mars t-shirt. I did ask for Muse. They had never heard of them. Darn. Anyway my new deviation proves people know them. So there.

Yeah, EVERYONE'S gonna do a journal on this, so I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon and do one too.

OMG LOL when i logged onto dA this morning I nearly had a heart attack. I thought I'd accidentally bought myself a subscription, or someone had donated me one or something... I freaked! I kind of didn't like it either at first, because the login bar was at the top, and DDs were at the bottom ALL THE TIME. But then I went into my messages and nearly fell off my chair. I have to say, the new messages system ROCKS!!! headbang: I was kind of jealous of those with subs with previews of stuff, but now we have comment previews and picture previews and EVERYTHING!!!!!

Now that I've ranted on about that, I'll move on. I finally picked up my 6 year old copy of Eragon, still pristine without a dent in it and began reading it for the first time. All my friends rave about it, and the film was ace (Brom ftw!) but I think the book is better. I swear Christopher Paolini must have been some kind of child genius to write like that at 15. I wish Murtagh would hurry up and show up...

This time next week, I'll be in a pool in Spain sunning myself for two weeks, so don't worry about me if my profile page says I've been offline more than an hour. I'm so addicted to this darn site. :dalove:

OK, rave over. I got the Prince Caspian soundtrack and the VG so I is very happy.

How much do I love Hellboy? A hell of a lot, that's how much. No pun intended. Will I be going to see the second film? You bet I will. How can a guy with a stone right hand, shaven horns, a samurai hair cut and TAIL be so amazingly charismatic and loveable??? Because he's Ron Perlman, that's why. He rocks.

Seriously time for an update. I still love Caspian though. A LOT. My mum actually got me the soundtrack for Prince Caspian, and I kid you not, I cried three consecutive times listening to 'The Call' by Regina Spektor.

On another note, OMG DOCTOR WHO FINALE! BEST ONE EVER!!! I rofled at 'Exterminegan' and Dalek Dodgems.
